
Dr Shaiza Mazhar

Dr Shaiza Mazhar has been with Gumdale Medical Centre since 2017.
Dr Mazhar has been working as a doctor since 2007. Since then, she has had very wide and extensive work experiences at several health facilities in Queensland, these include Queensland Childrens hospital and Redlands hospital.
Dr Mazhar then went on to work and train in Rural Queensland for 3 years whilst completing fellowships in General Practice.
Dr Mazhar began working at Gumdale Medical Centre as a general practitioner in 2017. She holds fellowships with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), as well as a Diploma in Child Health from Sydney.
Dr Mazhar enjoys general practice and has extensive clinical experience across several disciplines within general medicine. Her special interests are Women’s and children’s health, Chronic Disease Management, and travel medicine.
Outside of work, Dr Mazhar enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and travelling.
Dr Mazhar also speaks Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi.
